Paul reminds us in his epistle to the Romans that,
‘…the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. Romans 8: 26
It’s good to be reminded that we do not know how to pray and that we are on a spiritual journey and have not yet arrived. It’s for this reason that we are hosting our conference on prayer. Ian Christensen will be joining us on Friday 8th Feb and all day on Saturday 9th February.
To listen to celebrated teaching from one of the best international bible teachers on prayer is a huge privilege and I know we will be truly inspired in our prayer lives. Prayer changes things and I know you will be greatly blessed and encouraged through this weekend.
Prayer is the single most important ministry of the church. There is a necessity of prayer that is vital for everything we do in God. The conference teaching will include ‘The power and benefits of prayer’ on Friday and ‘The Rewards of The Secret Place’ on Saturday. (Friday 8th will also be our designated day of prayer for the church).
