National Day of Prayer

Rev Rob GrinsellDear church family,
the 9th December has been designated a National Day of Prayer. Churches throughout the country are setting aside time on this day to pray for our government and nation at this crucial time. We are planning to arrive in the church from 3.45pm tomorrow to pray between 4-5pm. Please join us.

As the website for the National Day of prayer says: “VICTORY IS IN THE AIR:

Recently we celebrated 100 years of the Royal Air Force, the brave men and women of whom Winston Churchill famously said: “Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many, to so few” Right now the Battle for Britain is in the air. In the airwaves and in the prayers of the believers. We have an amazing history of nation changing prayer in this country thanks to national days of prayer during the second world war and people like Rees Howells, whose prayers changed the direction of The Battle of Britain.”

Jesus said to his disciples, ‘could you not watch for just one hour?’ Join us for just one hour tomorrow afternoon to lay the course of our nation before God through our prayer.

Every blessing in Jesus
