Dear church family,
I want to thank God for the wonderful conference we have just had. I have been to many good conferences over the years but we were truly blessed by the ministry we received over this weekend.
If you were not able to get to the sessions, all the teaching is on our website. (Huge thanks to Marigold, the worship team and Tony and Cynthia for their hard work over the weekend). The teaching by Ian, Faith and Chris will inspire and motivate us all to greater prayer and intimacy with God.
Evening of Prayer
We are inviting everyone to an evening of prayer for the nations on this Wednesday evening between 7.30pm-9.00pm in the church. The evening will include prayer stations, teaching, with lighting and music and different styles of prayer to help us intercede for our nation, and the nations of the world at this time of increasing instability.
Just a reminder that this Sunday is our Harvest Festival and Compassion Sunday service.
The children may like to come with some food items, to bring to the altar during the first song. Our food donation and offering is going to the Rainbow Centre and Foodbank. They have asked if the items can be either tinned or dried products only please.
This is an All-Age service, so the children will remain in the church throughout.
The service will include an update on our finances and the appeal given in June, as well as an important opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone for their love and service to the church and community.
There will be a sermon for the adults during which time the children will be engaged with a Table Top activity. We will also pray for our town as our overall aim is always to advance the gospel and see people saved.
