In these challenging and difficult times, and where we are unable to meet together as a church, we can still stay connected, love and support one another by doing church online. We want to stay connected with you so you will know our love prayers and support and keep you up to date through our website, Facebook page and emails.
We are currently streaming a service on a Sunday morning at 11am where we will worship, hear from God’s word and pray together. Please join us as we seek the Lord for what He is saying to us in these unprecedented times.
If you are part of our church family or community here in Hawkinge and you need anything, practical or pastoral, please do get in touch. We are praying for our community, for families, friends and loved ones. If you are lonely, feeling isolated or fearful or you simply want to talk, please, please call us. If you are looking for prayer or spiritual support please do get in touch; we want to support you in any way we can. We long to share the love of God with all people, practically and spiritually.
You can reach us on email or telephone on 01303 893215, both of which will be regularly monitored during office hours.
‘come to me if you are weary and burdened and I will give you rest’
The Church continues to be alive and active, but our building must remain closed for the time being.
We are seeing a huge increase in the number of people falling sick with COVID-19. We must distance ourselves from one another and prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives.
Therefore, as well as public worship being suspended, all church buildings in the Church of England are now closed.
Our worship of God and our care for each other continue but cannot be done in our building.
Our website contains details of how to join others online for prayer, worship, study, and community life.
We are publishing updates and other messages here.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength . . . Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.
To protect the vulnerable amongst us, please do not leave your home except for essential trips.
